I have been taking a B&W photo class. The great part about it is, I am able to develop my own prints. Enlarge then and what not... I thought for a while that it was the only thing I really wanted to learn.
One day the teacher told me, that the frame I have can be better if I look and see the elements in a picture and their relationship. Being a former film student, I acted like I already new this. But then it hit me to how true this containing edu. teacher was. In all my four years at SVA, it took me till now to understand that concept.

First ROCKUMENTARY
So I know I really haven't posted anything in a while...Kinda lame...I know.
But a lot has happened including making my first rockumentary. And who better to make it about then my brother Quincy.
The documentary was partly shot in Vermont where the band isolated them selves in the middle of the woods for a week to better there sound. And with Quincy's band, "The Reason Why," stuck in the middle of the woods, you know this is going to be entertaining.
I brought my long time friend, Hunter R. Baker to come up with me in Vermont and document these wild hooligans. And what a job he did! It was my first time working with Hunter, but having been an Emmy winner for working HBO's "24/7"....You can say I trusted him, haha!
But the best part about doing this documentary was the fact that we shot a live concert for his new live album. The documentary is going to be featured with the up coming album. Possibly on iTune, CDbaby, and all that fun stuff. I like to say this is the best team work yet from the Mumford brothers...haha!
But the best part about the live shoot was working with my uncle Scott Mumford for the first time. As well as my buddy Real Sprague. What is so great about having these two is the fact that Scott films Bonnaroo concert every year, as well as Real who shoots music videos for Atlantic Records.
I hope to have a finished cut in the next two months, but you'll just have to wait and order the album...which includes the documentary.
